1. Acceptance

By installing or using AI Story Generator & Writer (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you are not legally able to agree for yourself, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.

2. The service

The App lets you submit a story idea, choose options such as language, genre, and length, and receive AI-generated content. It may also provide local story history, device-based text-to-speech narration, PDF export, sharing, free access supported by ads, and optional premium features.

No name, email address, password, or public account is required. The App creates a pseudonymous anonymous identity to secure requests, enforce access limits, and connect subscription access. Features, limits, story lengths, supported languages, models, ad frequency, and premium benefits may change as the service develops.

3. AI-generated content

• Stories are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, repetition, bias, unexpected themes, or content that does not fully match your request.
• Outputs are for creative and entertainment purposes. They are not professional, educational, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
• You are responsible for reviewing content before reading it to children, publishing it, sharing it, or relying on it.
• We do not guarantee originality, factual accuracy, suitability, availability, or that an output will not resemble existing material.

4. Your prompts and permitted use

You are responsible for your prompts and your use of generated stories. You must not use the App to:

• violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
• generate or distribute sexual content involving minors, exploitative content, credible threats, instructions for serious wrongdoing, or content intended to facilitate harm;
• impersonate others deceptively, harass people, spread malware, probe the service, bypass limits, manipulate rewarded-ad verification, or interfere with other users;
• submit confidential information or personal data that you do not have permission to process; or
• misrepresent AI-generated content where disclosure is required by law, a platform, a publisher, a school, or another applicable policy.

5. Rights in content

You retain rights you already have in your prompts. As between you and ASKSEO, and to the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party rights, you may use the generated output. You grant us and our service providers a limited right to process your prompt and output only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

You must ensure that your prompts and use of outputs do not infringe another person's rights. AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection in every country, and similar outputs may be generated for others.

6. Free access, advertising, and rewards

Free access may include banner or rewarded ads supplied by Google. The App may allow some stories immediately and require a completed rewarded ad before another generation. A reward is granted only after successful ad completion and server verification. Closing an ad early, failed verification, suspected manipulation, service errors, or expired reward sessions may result in no reward.

Ad availability is not guaranteed. We may change reasonable generation limits and reward frequency to manage costs, fraud, quality, and service availability.

7. Premium subscriptions

• Available plans, prices, billing periods, trials, and included features are shown in the App and Google Play before purchase.
• Purchases and renewals are charged through your Google Play account and are subject to Google Play's terms.
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time.
• Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Use Google Play's subscription settings to cancel.
• Refund eligibility is governed by Google Play's policies and applicable law. We cannot issue or promise a refund outside the payment platform's available process.
• Premium access may require a network connection to confirm the active entitlement through RevenueCat and Google Play.

8. Local storage, narration, downloads, and sharing

Saved history is stored locally and may be lost if you clear App storage, uninstall the App, replace the device, or lose access to it. You are responsible for backing up exported files. Narration quality and language support depend on the speech engine and voices installed on your device. Sharing sends content to the app or destination you choose, whose terms then apply.

9. App license

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or lawful business creative purposes. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer, tamper with, extract credentials from, or create an unauthorized competing service from the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.

10. Availability and changes

The service depends on networks and third parties, including AI processing, payment, advertising, hosting, and device speech providers. It may be unavailable, delayed, rate-limited, or changed without guarantee. We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, compliance, cost control, or product changes.

11. Suspension

We may restrict access to the online service if we reasonably believe there is fraud, automated abuse, security risk, illegal use, repeated violation of these Terms, or harm to the service or others. You may stop using the service at any time and remove the App from your device.

12. Third-party services

Our AI processing, payment, advertising, hosting, device speech, and sharing providers operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond what applicable law requires.

13. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and online service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, originality, or suitability. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASKSEO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses; lost data, profits, opportunities, or reputation; or losses caused by AI output, third-party services, device failure, or interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent allowed by applicable law.

15. Governing rules and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without removing mandatory consumer protections in your country. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Courts or authorities with lawful jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the App, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
