Include the App version shown under Settings → Version, your Android version, the selected story language and length, and a brief description of the problem. Do not email service credentials, passwords, payment-card details, or private story prompts.
Story generation
- Confirm that the device has a working internet connection.
- Use a specific prompt between 10 and 400 characters.
- If a request times out, wait briefly and try again rather than repeatedly tapping Generate.
- Free users receive two immediate stories; every third successful generation may require a verified rewarded ad.
Narration and voices
Narration uses the text-to-speech engine and voices installed on your phone. In the App, open Settings → Narration voices to inspect language support. Install or select a higher-quality voice in Android speech settings when a language sounds unnatural or is unavailable. Closing the narration screen should stop playback.
Story history and deletion
Saved stories are kept on this device, not synchronized to an online account. Open Settings → Story history to read, delete, or clear saved stories. See Data Deletion for complete instructions.
PDF downloads and sharing
On supported Android versions, PDFs are saved in the device's StoryPad download folder after you grant any required file permission. Files shared to another app are then controlled by that destination. If a file is missing, check Android Files, Downloads, and the permission settings for Story Generator.
Premium purchases
- Purchases are processed by Google Play and premium status is checked through RevenueCat.
- Make sure the Play Store uses the same Google account that made the purchase.
- Manage or cancel a subscription from Google Play subscriptions.
- For charges or refund eligibility, use Google Play's purchase support process.
