Data Deletion

The App does not ask for a name, email address, password, or public profile. It does create a pseudonymous Firebase anonymous identity. Most user-visible information, including saved stories, is stored locally and can be deleted directly from the device.

Delete saved stories

  1. Open AI Story Generator & Writer.
  2. Open Settings, then Story history.
  3. Delete an individual story or choose Clear history to remove all locally saved stories.

Delete all local App data

Use Android Settings → Apps → Story Generator → Storage → Clear storage/data, or uninstall the App. This removes local history, preferences, the locally stored Firebase anonymous credential and legacy installation identifier, reward state stored on the device, and the local premium cache. If the App is used again, it will create a new anonymous identity. Clearing data does not itself delete provider-side security, analytics, entitlement, or transaction records and does not cancel an active Google Play subscription.

Delete exported or shared files

PDFs and other exported files are separate from App history. Delete them from Android Files or Downloads. Copies shared to another app, cloud drive, message, or recipient must be deleted from that destination separately.

Request removal of server records

Firebase and our server may retain a pseudonymous anonymous user ID, story-access counts, hashed network-derived quota identifiers, legacy installation hashes, reward sessions, transaction verification records, analytics events, and security logs. RevenueCat may retain the same pseudonymous user ID with entitlement and transaction status. These records are not stored under a name, email login, or public profile.

  1. Email articlespinnerai@gmail.com with the subject Story Generator Data Deletion Request.
  2. State that the request concerns Android package com.storygenerator.stories.adventure. Do not include story text, passwords, payment data, or other unnecessary personal information.
  3. We may ask for limited technical details needed to locate a pseudonymous record, such as an App support identifier or purchase information supplied through Google Play. Do not send a full purchase token or payment-card details. If a record cannot reasonably be linked to the requester, we will explain that limitation.

Verified requests will be handled as required by applicable law. Where the identifier can be located, this may include deleting or dissociating the Firebase anonymous identity and related application records and sending an appropriate deletion request to service providers. Some records may still be retained where necessary for fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Third-party AI processing, payment, advertising, analytics, device speech, and sharing providers also apply their own deletion and retention rules.

Subscriptions

Deleting App data or uninstalling does not cancel premium billing. Cancel through Google Play subscriptions.
